During the Heian Period in Japan, the nobility incorporated wisteria patterns in their clothing, while the Fujiwara Clan adopted the flower for their family crest. Wisteria has continued as a noble flower up through modern times. At Nishiarai Daishi, the Noda fuji variety is 700 years old. Enjoy the fantastic color and honey scent.
