Nishiarai Daishi is well known for the abundance of its flowers. Cherry blossoms start the blooming season in late March, followed by the many peonies and wisteria on the temple grounds that reach their prime at about the time of the Flower Festival.
Throughout the four seasons, even after the Flower Festival season, the blossoms of many flowers such as iris, hydrangea, water lily, lily, and cosmos delight the eyes. The blaze of autumn leaves is also quite beautiful.
