Worshipping on one of these days is considered especially auspicious. In particular, the 21st marks the day that Kobodaishi passed from this world and remains the day when many worshippers visit.
The first celebratory date for Kobodaishi at the beginning of the year brings many worshippers to pray for good health.
Each spring on the 21st of March, April, and May, the temple hosts a garden-plant market on the grounds; many nurseries have stalls open on these dates.
